SELL YOUR USED BOOKS

FAQs on selling your curriculum and books to us:

How does it work?
Bring any of your books and materials that you’re interested in selling. Our book buyer will look through them to select items of interest and then will make an offer. The wait time varies, but during most of the year, the wait might be, for example, about 15-25 minutes for 2 medium-sized boxes of books. Feel free to shop or browse while waiting. When the offer is ready, it will be at the checkout counter; ask any of us to check on the amount for you. If you accept the offer, we will pay for your selected items the same day with cash or check. Of course, you may spend any of the amount on merchandise you’d like to purchase that day. The unsold items will be returned to you.

What do you buy?
We buy current editions of curriculum across all school subjects plus various editions of classic novels, picture books, early readers, and phonics-based readers used in the programs we sell. We also buy educational games, flashcards, materials, and supplies and other non-curricular items. Brands of interest are the ones we sell in the new books section plus the ones listed in our used book section. We also buy many, many other brands not listed! Condition should be complete (no missing pages or pieces), and student pages should have no writing. Disks should be free of scratches. Current inventory of the item should be at a level that we need to increase it, and current demand for the item should be sufficiently high. There will be exceptions to these general guidelines.

How much do you offer?
We typically offer 25% of the retail price of items we’re interested in. There are some exceptions that will be slightly above and below the 25%.
